Now that we’ve got those February yards built into our base fitness, it’s time to bring in the “cans.” One item for every 2000 yards you swam in February – donations to the Menlo Park Senior Center lunch program. Suggested items are listed below. Congratulations swimmers, well done! Please consider donating the following items: canned vegetables (corn, green beans, mushrooms, garbanzo, navy beans), canned tuna or sardines (in oil or water), canned meats (chicken, beef), canned soups, canned chili, top ramen dry soups, macaroni & cheese packages, and noodles of all sorts (spaghetti, etc.).
