Pools
The Burgess Park pool complex is complete and full-service. Indoors you will find locker rooms and showers, a central lobby area, and front offices. Outdoors, along with three pools, enjoy picnics and shade under the oak trees. Three pools are designed to support a full range of activities:

Instructional Pool: 25 yards x 50 feet, 3.5-6 feet deep, supports 6 lanes, kept at 86 degrees F.
Performance Pool: 25 meters x 25 yards, 7 feet deep, supports 11 lanes, kept at 80 degrees F.
Play Pool: Splashing water fountain and falls, shallow depths for wading, kept at 86 degrees F.

On Deck
Find places to sit and spread out your towel on our benches, deck, or on the grass. Food allowed on the grassy areas only. Bring your own lock for our outside lockers. You are welcome to bring pool toys, flotation devices, fins, kickboards, and paddles.

Locker Rooms and Showers
There are full men’s and women’s locker rooms that include indoor and outdoor showers. There are also two family changing areas. If you wish to use a locker, please bring your own lock and do not leave belongings overnight. Age policy: Children age 5 and under are allowed in the opposite-gender locker rooms when accompanied by an adult.

Pro Shop
Our Pro-Shop is temporarily closed as of 2022. We are working on restoring it to its original state pre-pandemic.

Front Desk and Offices
The front desk is the first place you’ll go when you arrive at the pool. Stop at the desk and give the staff-member your name and the activity you’re checking in for. At the front desk you may also register for classes and pick up information about programs and events.

Conduct and Safety
Please help ensure a great experience for everyone. Before you send your young swimmers to the pool for an afternoon, be aware that we wish to maintain high standards for conduct with emphasis on safety. We encourage behavior that is respectful and mature. Our guards will enforce safety rules both on deck and in the pool.

Menlo Swim and Sport brings Fitness classes to the Arrillaga Family Gymnastics Center (next door to the pool) or the Arrillaga Family Gymnasium (600 Alma Street, Menlo Park). The Arrillaga Family Gymnastics Center was re-opened in 2012, rebuilt from the ground up. The Arrillaga Family Gymnasium was opened in 2010.

Burgess Tennis Courts
The Burgess Tennis Courts, immediately adjacent to the pools, feature two courts with lighting for evening play.
