Menlo Swim and Sport offers Tennis Camps for Kids 7-14
Camp Menlo Tennis and Swim combines tennis instruction with our award-winning aquatics camp. Daily tennis lessons with experienced Menlo Swim and Sport tennis instructors provide a foundation for a unique day camp experience. Campers enjoy organized aquatic sport and free time in the pool, in addition to exercises for strength, conditioning, agility and control – especially designed to enhance tennis development.
Tennis is a game that your child will enjoy for a lifetime! Whether just learning to play or looking to take tennis to the next level, at the Camp Menlo Tennis and Swim program, your child will master new skills and develop greater confidence on and off the court. Our experienced tennis instructors teach to the appropriate level to help campers achieve greater control and understanding of the game. Your child receives three hours of tennis instruction and related conditioning (ratio 8:1), plus free swim and land games that incorporate mental skills. Each child’s tennis level is assessed on the first day of camp, and campers with similar abilities are grouped together. Under-10 campers will develop tennis skills based on the USTA 10 and Under Program. Older campers will join our Junior Tennis group for age and level-appropriate skills and drills. A daily focus on different aspects of the game lead to rapid advancement of your child’s ability. Your child should come home healthy-tired and inspired!

Head of Camps: Jojo Duffey
My name is Jojo Duffey, and I have been working for Menlo Swim & Sport for almost 14 years. Over this time, I have had the pleasure to work for the Menlo Swim School, and Menlo Service Center. Last Summer, I was the head of the Palo Alto Swim & Sport’s Camp. I also currently manage the Menlo Swim & Sport Pro Shop, and have been for the last 5 years. I am thrilled to be heading camps at Burgess this summer! I welcome all camp enthusiasts and cannot wait to create some memorable experiences! I am a Menlo Park native (MAHS Alum) and mother of two. Kieran, my swim baby, who loves to surf and plays water polo for St. Francis High School, and Bodhi who is in the third grade and is a basketball fanatic. I look forward to being a part of such a fun and high energy summer extravaganza!
Head of Camps: Alondra Caballero
My name is Alondra Caballero. This will be my third year working for Menlo Swim and Sport and my second year working for Camp Menlo. When I started, I immediately fell in love with our amazing pools, the community, and of course, the kids! Throughout the year, I have the privilege to continue to work and build relationships with some of these campers through our Menlo Swim School. The kids are what truly makes this job fun and rewarding. I am extremely thankful for all the experiences and excited to be able to continue to be a part of this camp. Happy summer!
